Salesforce+ is Salesforce's free streaming service, announced on 10 August 2021 and opened globally on 14 September 2021, a week before an all-digital Dreamforce ran on it. Colin Fleming, then senior vice president of global brand marketing, led the project, and an in-house unit called Salesforce Studios produced the launch slate: Leading Through Change, which had run more than 60 episodes and passed 700 million views since March 2020, plus Connections with Sarah Franklin, Boss Talks with Ebony Beckwith and Simply Put with Emmanuel Acho.
The business case was pipeline rather than advertising revenue. Fleming has said the platform generated $600 million in pipeline for Salesforce. Five years on it reads less like the Netflix for business it was pitched as and more like the permanent home of Salesforce's events: Dreamforce 2026 streamed more than 400 sessions on Salesforce+, and the on-demand library is how most people who never fly to San Francisco experience the company.
